Nokia 500- 1 GHz CPU review

Nokia has decided to make a gift to all fans of the company, representing the communicator with a modest numerical index 500 (this may mean a return to the origins of the naming scheme of new models?).

This action addresses two main means for criticism of the current flagship phones from Nokia, including N8: Processor speed has increased from 680 MHz to 1 GHz, and the newsmartphone is powered by Symbian Anna which also has a number of improvements compared to the previous version....

The new CPU should improve the performance of Nokia 500 in demanding applications and responsiveness in the daily tasks. They also promised faster and more convenient browser in OS Symbian Anna, better integration with social services and redesigned user interface for touch control.

The main body color - black or white, diluted with removable rear panels of nine colors. With the size of 111.3 x 53.8 x 14.1 mm it weighs only 93 g (with BL-4U 1110 mAh battery).

Capacitive 3.2-inch display has a resolution of 640 x 360 pixels. It also features improved picture quality using an accelerometer, proximity sensors and ambient light sensor. Nokia 500 has 2 GB of internal memory and microSD slot for up to 32 GB of additional memory. Its 5-megapixel camera shoots video at a maximum resolution of only 640 x 480 pixels, which is not as cool as 720p of, let's say, HTC Desire but if your screen is only 640 x 360 pixels you don't need much more resolution.

Communication with the outside world is possible through Wi-Fi 802.11 b / g, Bluetooth 2.1 + EDR, HSDPA and GPRS. There are: GSM, WCDMA and A-GPS modules, Micro USB port and headphone jack. Sales of Nokia 500 should begin in the third quarter of 2011.
