Ready to Serve Passengers with flight attendants iPad 2


Flight attendants at airline British Airways will have a new way of serving our passengers. British airline will provide a tablet computer Apple iPad 2 in the crew cabin.

Currently, some 120 cabin crew had the iPad 2. Reported by dailymail Friday (19/08/2011), of 1,800 additional iPad will be distributed in stages until the end of this year.

The presence of iPad 2 is expected to ease the task of the crew give the best service for passengers. iPad 2 is registering the name of each passenger, including where they sit, they want special foods and so on.


So since the beginning of a flight attendant had to get a picture of each passenger. Services they are expected to be better and personal.

"iPad has allowed us to serve passengers on the plane with a more personalized, but the possibility of future usefulness is not limited to," said Bill Francis, Head of In-flight Customer Experience at British Airways.

Tablet computers are quite popular in the world of aviation. Besides being used by cabin crew, tablets are also used as a medium of entertainment on the plane as is done Jetstar or American Airlines are taking Galaxy 1.10
