Bandwidth upgrades, First Media Allocate $ 2.5 Million

Providers of broadband Internet and pay-TV cable-based First Media to invest U.S. $ 2.5 million charge to increase the bandwidth capacity of standardization customers to 3 Mbps at 500 thousand home pass until the end of 2011.

With a standard capacity of 3 Mbps, Dicky confirmed, the customer will not incur additional costs in the subscription. "It's been our commitment to provide digital access to living in houses. And 3 Mbps is already a world standard," he said.

He adds, in terms of subscription fees, bandwidth offered by First Media has the capacity to match the internet provided by the state
neighbors. "Our tariff to 3 Mbps of Rp 335 thousand. This is the same with Singapore that offers cost 35 SGD to access 3 Mbps," Dicky asserted.

In the same occasion, First Media also renewed his cooperation with Fox International Channel to reinforce the content broadcast on cable TV
berbayarnya. Mentioned there are 15 channels that are HDTV ready for customers of the Fox HD First Media.

In Asia, including Indonesia, Fox operates 27 channels in various genres such as entertainment and news StarWorld, Fox, National Geographic, Star Movies,
