Release Date Final Fantasy XIII-2

Square Enix announced the release date of Final Fantasy XIII-2 for the PS3 and Xbox 360, this game will be released in Japan on 12.15.2011 at a price of 7980 yen. Sony PS3 bundle will also release Final Fantasy XIII-2 Lightning Edition Ver 2 with a price of ¥ 37,960.

While the release version of North America and Asia will fall on on 01.31.2012, while the European version will be released on 03/02/2012. No special bundle for the PS3 outside of Japan.

Square Enix recently released a trailer for Final Fantasy XIII for the Tokyo-2 new trailer featuring Snow Villers, Hope Estheim and a mysterious girl who dressed like Vanille whose face is covered. Square Enix also revealed the theme song for this game is "Yakusoku no Basho" (Promised Place) from Mai Fukui and "New World" of Charice. Mai Fukui will sing the theme song for the Japanese version of FF, while Charice is for the international version. Not forgetting Square Enix has also confirmed that this game will have downloadable content after the game is released.
