A word from NeoGAF who confirmed that the PlayStation Vita will not have region lock, like the PSP and PlayStation 3. This means that gamers can play any game from any region, and will work fine without having to modify or change your Vita.
This news came from users of the tweet lonelypessimist Sony President Shuhei Yoshida. He asked "is it confirmed yet if vita is region free?", Which briefly answered by Yoshida "Yes, it is."
The other good news is the Vita can be connected with the PSP. If gamers to download titles to your PSP Vita, so gamers can connect and compete with PSP users and plays the same title. But unfortunately not all titles are compatible with Vita.
