Oracle Claims Disadvantaged Android Rp 11 Trillion


Oracle and Google is engaged in a war-related patents Android operating system. Oracle claims suffered huge losses due to patent and Google infringed copyright, which reached $ 1.2 billion, or about Rp 11 trillion ($ 1 = Rp 9190, source: xe.com).

A total of USD 202 million in losses due to patent infringement Oracle and USD 136 million for copyright infringement. While as much as USD 823.9 million is the advantage of Google because of copyright violation on Oracle.

In July, Oracle claims it suffered losses amount to $ 6.1 billion. But the judge rejected that amount as too high.

Not long ago, Google CEO Larry Page and Oracle CEO Larry Ellison had met to discuss the lawsuit. But they reportedly fail to reach common ground.
